Brunch Wedding at Homestead on the Roof
When Steven and Ryan hired to shoot their wedding I was stoked to find out it was a brunch wedding at Homestead on the Roof in Chicago. I love photographing brunch weddings because they’re just so much fun.
Brunch weddings are all about having a good time and enjoying the company of your friends and family, which is why they’re also so relaxed. I love that I can capture all of that joy in my photos!
The food is amazing, too! Brunch wedding menus are usually a fusion of breakfast foods and lunch foods. Think pancakes, donuts, eggs benedict, biscuits with gravy, etc. It’s always a great way to get people started with their day off on the right foot!
I loved getting to work with this couple in Chicago. They were just so sweet, and we had such a fun time at getting ready at Nobu Hotel. It was great to be able to make their day special for them.
After getting ready at Nobu we headed to Lincoln Park to take wedding party and couple photos in the park. We also got the iconic shot in front of the honeycombe and the Chicago skyline.
After finishing up couple photos in Lincoln Park we hit up a really cute flower mural. We then headed to their rooftop ceremony at Homestead on the Roof.
If you’re looking for an outdoor wedding in Chicago, Homestead on the Roof is an amazing option. The rooftop is beautiful, and the garden vibes are unbeatable. Plus, the food is delicious. If you’re planning a brunch wedding, this place is a must-see!
