The Garden of the Phoenix is a Japanese garden located in Jackson Park in Chicago. It’s located near the Museum of Science and Industry. The garden is small but is home to a variety of plants, including cherry blossom trees, wisteria vines and irises. There are also several ponds filled with koi fish that you can feed during your visit. Garden of the Phoenix is a great location for your engagement session.

We love how the light of golden hour made the colors come to life for Erin and Ryan’s spring engagement session at Garden of the Phoenix in Jackson Park. Erin and Ryan had such a natural connection that it was easy to candidly capture their love for each other. I followed as they walked through the paths and interacted with each other. After we explored the garden we got lucky with the most epic sunset I have every seen. It looked like cotton candy in the sky.
