The venue has a rustic vibe with lots of room to mingle. If you’re into craft beer, Buffalo Creek Brewing has an excellent selection of local brews that make your guests feel right at home.
I started with Kati at the venue while her mother helped her get into her beautiful wedding dress. The rest of her family helped set up the decor while Tim was at home getting ready. By the time Kati finished with her final touched Tim was scheduled to arrive for their first look. I found a nice secluded area in front of a red barn that worked as the perfect first look location.
After we did the first look we walked around the wooded area near the venue. We found a cool bridge to take portraits on and I had the couple practice their first dance. Kati and Tim didn’t have a wedding party so we had lots of time to get romantic shots of them. We ended their portrait session with photos over the iconic Long Grove Bride. The couple were starting to get a little nervous for their ceremony so we relaxed for a bit before the ceremony started outside in the gazebo.
Buffalo Creek Brewing was decorated so beautifully and really hit all the couples checkpoints. It was set up in an outdoor venue, there were lawn games and a fire pit, and they had the wonderful gazebo where the ceremony took place. It was truly a magical day for everyone involved!
I had a great time hanging out with everyone, playing lawn games, relaxing by the fire pit and enjoying pizza from the food truck. The atmosphere at Buffalo Creek Brewing is so perfect for a casual wedding. You could tell the guests all felt right at home.
