Sunset North Avenue Beach and Chicago Riverwalk Engagement
I was so excited when my client told me they wanted to do a North Avenue beach engagement with a stop on the Chicago Riverwalk. As a Chicago wedding photographer It’s one of my favorite spots in the city, especially for sunset photos. We had such a lovely evening together, and I loved that the couple was willing to let loose and relax. I love being able to capture the love between two people, especially love when those couples are as cute as can be.
Firstly we started off on the Chicago Riverwalk where we got some iconic shots at the Wrigley Building and down by the river. We then headed to North Avenue Beach for sunset.
Their session was so relaxed and natural, which made me feel like I was just hanging out with friends rather than working on a photo shoot. I couldn’t help but fall in love with these two even more during their session, especially when they shared stories about how they met and fell in love.
The sun was shining brightly as we walked along Lake Michigan, it soon sank below the horizon, leaving us with soft light from above and below. The waves crashed onto the shore as we stood together by the water, looking at the Chicago skyline. It was incredible! I absolutely love shooting North Avenue Beach engagement sessions!
