Biltmore Country Club Summer Wedding

Shannon and Ryan’s Biltmore Country Club wedding was magic from the beginning. I knew this couple was something special when I met them on the Chicago Riverwalk for their engagement shoot.

How It Started

They met at bar in Chicago called the rabbit hole over a game of connect four. The couple were their usual flirtatious and competitive selves and had the best time. They knew right away they wanted to set up a another date. A week later on their first date they started with a competitive game of pool at Point & Feather, dinner at the Franklin Room and before they knew it they closed the restaurant down in amazing and effortless conversation. They didn’t want the night to end, so they walked down the block for one more drink. According to Shannon because Ryan seemed to good to be true, she tested his spontaneity and brought him to National 27 to test out his salsa dancing! Obviously he rocked the dance floor, locked in a kiss & the rest is history.

The Wedding Day

The bride got ready at her family home in Barrington while the groom got ready at his house. The ceremony was held at St. Anne Church in Barrington and the couple chose to do a bubble exit after their ceremony, which I love because it’s so fun and memorable! The wedding party then jumped on a trolley to head towards the Biltmore Country Club for their reception.

Biltmore Country Club is a gorgeous venue for weddings in the Chicagoland area. It’s located on the outskirts of North Barrington, and it boasts beautiful views of the golf course and surrounding nature. The architecture of the building has a classic feel that makes it perfectly suited for an elegant wedding reception. The grounds are also stunning—you’ll be able to take photos around the property that will make your friends jealous!

I had so much fun working with this couple on their big day, and can’t wait to see what they do next!
