I met Mallory and Sam on the Chicago Riverwalk for their engagement session on a hot summer day two hours before sunset. We started on the riverwalk to get more of an urban feel before headed to Milton Lee Olive Park for their sunset engagement session.
The Chicago Riverwalk is a beautiful spot to take engagement photos. It’s a long walkway that runs along the river, and it has lots of great spots for photos. One of the things I love about Chicago is that there are so many different areas to shoot in. From downtown to the suburbs and all of them are unique and fun. We hit up the every popular Wrigley Building and gorgeous gold door before jumping in an Uber to one of the most popular engagement locations in Chicago.
Milton Lee Olive Park is epic at sunset. This park has a lot of charm: it’s surrounded by beautiful trees and has and epic view of the skyline. Milton Lee Olive Park is an amazing location because it offers a lot of different options. You can go big with the skyline shots or pull back for something more intimate. The park also has great trees for beautiful light, benches for sitting down and chatting about your day together, and even a gorgeous view of Lake Michigan from behind some thick foliage (which makes for a great background). We ended the shot with an epic sunset skyline shot.
This Milton Lee Olive sunset engagement was one of my favorites of the year.
