If you’re looking for the perfect place to capture winter engagement photos, the Morton Arboretum is your spot. The Morton Arboretum is a gorgeous and incredibly photogenic location that will add a touch of magic to your photos.
This winter I had the pleasure to go up to Morton Arboretum to spent a few hours in the snow with two incredible people. Their enthusiasm for getting engaged was contagious, and when they informed me they wanted to have their winter engagement session at the Morton Arboretum, I knew it would be a blast. They were fun an goofy. We played in the snow and even popped some champagne.
The thing I love most about the Arboretum is that it’s always changing. The trees are always blossoming and changing colors or the snow is glistening. You’ll never tire of taking pictures here. My favorite spot to take photos at the Morton Arboretum in the winter is the spruce plot. It’s a small area but It has a magical feel to it. You are a mere pebble amongst the giants above. I find it best blanketed in snow. It has a magical feel to it in the winter.
I’m so excited to share Mary and Phil’s Morton Arboretum engagement session with you!
