As a Chicago wedding photographer, I recently had the pleasure of capturing the fall wedding of Sabrina and Christopher at the unique Warehouse 109 in Plainfield, IL. Love overflowed the wedding, but it was timeless charm that truly set the stage for Sabrina and Christopher’s perfect day.
The venue, Warehouse 109, proved to be an exceptional choice, boasting over 6,000 square feet of versatile space. The venue seamlessly blends rustic and industrial-chic aesthetics. The indoor reception hall, adorned with wooden beams, exposed brick walls, and sheet metal doors, accommodated up to 150. What sets this venue apart is its captivating antique motorcycle display and retro-style bar, creating an atmosphere that transports you back in time.
Sunset Ceremony
One of the highlights of the day was the heartfelt ceremony held outside at sunset. The golden light cast a magical glow, enhancing the romantic ambiance as Sabrina and Christopher exchanged vows. Warehouse 109’s 2,000-square foot courtyard served as the perfect backdrop, adorned with strings of bistro lights that created a warm atmosphere. The Airstream Lounge and firepits added a touch of vintage charm to the outdoor space.
Adding to the uniqueness of the celebration, Sabrina and Christopher included their three children as part of the wedding party. The involvement of their little ones added a heartwarming touch to the entire event, making it a true family affair.
Sparkler Exit
Following the touching speeches and the couple’s first dance, we ventured outside for a sparkler exit. The courtyard transformed under the night sky, and I seized the opportunity to capture stunning night photos of the newlyweds.
Overall Sabrina and Christopher’s fall wedding at Warehouse 109 was a testament to love, family, and the beauty of unique venues. THis Warehouse 109 wedding was such a fun wedding to be a part of.
