In the heart of Milwaukee, Cassie and John’s engagement session brought together love and adventure for a day to remember. I love getting out of Chicago to explore a new city. Milwaukee is a great spot for engagement photos because it offers a mix of city and nature settings. You can choose from urban backdrops with colorful streets and historic buildings, or head to the peaceful Lake Michigan shores for a romantic feel. Parks, gardens, and landmarks like the Milwaukee Art Museum provide diverse options.
Our journey began with a celebratory beer at Lakefront Brewery, setting the tone for a fun-filled day. Laughter echoed as Cassie and John shared stories and enjoyed each other’s company. I love starting a Milwaukee engagement session at a brewery. Its such a fun way to get to know each other and to ease into the engagement session.
Moving on to the Holton Street Bridge, we discovered the charm of Milwaukee’s urban landscape. Amazing light hit the bridge and surrounding area that provided the perfect backdrop for capturing the couple’s connection and the city’s allure.
As the day transitioned to evening, we found ourselves at Atwater Beach just as the sun began its descent. The sky transformed into a canvas of pinks and oranges, perfectly mirroring the intensity of Cassie and John’s love.
Cassie and John’s Milwaukee engagement session was a whirlwind of laughter, adventure, and romance. From beers to bridges and finally the breathtaking beach, their love story was one for the books. As a Chicago wedding photographer, moments like these remind me of the magic that lies within love stories, waiting to be captured through the lens.
I can’t wait to share more of Cassie and John after I shoot their September Milwaukee wedding at The George.
