As a Chicago suburb wedding photographer, I’ve witnessed countless beautiful celebrations, but Bita and Sean’s wedding at Chevy Chase Country Club in Wheeling, IL, truly stands out. From the heartfelt moments to the infectious laughter, every detail of their day was filled with love and joy.
Getting Ready at The Westin Hotel
The day began at The Westin Hotel in Wheeling, where Bita shared excited anticipation with her bridesmaids. Her bridesmaids were all stunning in different shades of a soft pink. Meanwhile, the guys, looking dapper in their blue suits, gathered at Chevy Chase Country Club, ready to celebrate their friend’s big day.
First Look
The excitement was palpable when I captured their first look, a moment overflowing with genuine emotion and pure happiness. We then explored the grounds of the country club, capturing stunning couple portraits that perfectly reflected their love and playfulness.
Chevy Chase Country Club Ceremony
As the ceremony time neared, the energy shifted to a beautiful anticipation. The ceremony itself was a unique blend of cultures, with a traditional American ceremony followed by a traditional Iranian ceremony. The latter was filled with special moments, including the feeding of honey, the mother of the bride presenting Bita with a necklace, and many other meaningful exchanges.
The reception room transformed into a whimsical wonderland, it was adorned with stunning floral arrangements that added a touch of magic to the atmosphere. As the sun began to set, we stepped outside for some breathtaking sunset portraits.
Reception
The evening unfolded with heartfelt speeches, delicious food, and an endless flow of laughter. A highlight of the night was the father-daughter dance, where Bita and her father shared a heartwarming moment that included a playful hat and cane routine. The dance left everyone with a smile on their face.
Bita and Sean’s wedding was a perfect testament to the power of love. The day brimmed with cherished traditions, pulsed with heartwarming moments, and radiated an abundance of joy. I am so grateful to have been a part of their special day and to have captured the love and laughter that filled every corner at this Chevy Chase Country Club wedding.
