I’m absolutely thrilled to recount the beautiful story of Katie and Adam’s wedding day at The Shores of Turtle Creek in Spring Grove, IL. From the very start, it was clear that love, excitement, and unforgettable moments would fill this wedding.
GETTING READY
I had the incredible privilege of joining Katie in the basement of The Shores of Turtle Creek as she prepared to walk down the aisle to marry the love of her life, Adam. Watching her add the final touches to her stunning wedding dress, I knew we were in for a day to remember.
FIRST LOOK
Despite the sweltering heat on what turned out to be the hottest day of the year, Katie and Adam made the bold decision to have their first look outside in the lush green space surrounding the venue. Together, we braved the crazy humidity, taking short breaks indoors to cool down, all while capturing some truly magical moments around the property and its beautiful bridge.
CEREMONY
The ceremony unfolded outside under the shade of huge oak trees. It was impossible not to be moved by the heartfelt Jewish ceremony, brimming with emotion and love. Following a refreshing cocktail hour held outdoors, the wedding reception was warm and inviting. There were heartfelt speeches and joyous celebration filling the air.
Reflecting on the day, I can’t help but sing praises for The Shores of Turtle Creek. It truly is a fantastic wedding venue. From its picturesque surroundings to its welcoming ambiance, it provided the perfect backdrop for Katie and Adam’s special day. The SHores of Turtle Creek made every moment even more memorable.
