Downtown Chicago Elopement: Nilofar & Brian
As a Chicago wedding photographer, I have the privilege of witnessing and capturing love stories in the most iconic locations of this vibrant city. Recently, I had the honor of photographing Nilofar and Brian’s beautiful downtown Chicago elopement. I’m excited to share their story with you.
On a sunny March day, I met Nilofar and Brian at Chicago City Hall right after they tied the knot. They embarked on this new chapter of their lives together with excitement and joy filling the atmosphere. We then set off to take photos around the stunning Chicago City Hall.
For couples considering getting married at Chicago City Hall, here are a few tips based on my experience:
- Plan Ahead: While eloping at City Hall is relatively straightforward, it’s essential have all the necessary documents in place.
- Timing Is Key: Choose a date and time that works best for both of you. Weekdays tend to be less crowded, allowing for a more intimate ceremony experience.
- Be Prepared to Wait: The city is often running behind and you may have to wait even with an appointment.
- Bring your Loved Ones: Up to 10 people are allowed to go with you. Keep in mind that is it a very small room.
Downtown Chicago Elopement
As we continued our photo session, we explored the picturesque surroundings of City Hall, capturing intimate moments against the backdrop of Chicago. Downtown Chicago elopements are the best because there are many iconic photo locations nearby. The warmth of the sunlight added a magical touch to the photos, reflecting the love and happiness shared between Nilofar and Brian.
Venteux Cafe
As we wrapped up our shoot, we decided to make a stop at Venteux Cafe, a cozy coffee shop. Coffee has been a significant part of their relationship, and it was only fitting to end the day with a cup brew.
