As a Chicago wedding photographer, every love story I have the privilege to capture is unique and special in its own way. Recently, I had the pleasure of documenting Gary and Andrea’s Chicago Riverwalk engagement. A celebration of their love amidst the urban charm they both adore. I love shooting on the Chicago Riverwalk. The diverse mix of iconic architecture, river views, and urban energy makes it an unparalleled location for capturing stunning images. Each time I step onto the Riverwalk, I’m inspired by the endless possibilities it offers. From the majestic skyline to the charming bridges and walkways, every corner presents a new opportunity for creativity. Whether it’s a sunrise session in golden light or a twilight shoot with the city lights, the Riverwalk never disappoints.
Our rendezvous point was LaSalle Bride, a favored spot known for its classic Chicago scenery. Gary and Andrea, who had previously eloped in California, made the decision to revisit Chicago, their former home, to celebrate their wedding.
Their preference for an urban setting led us to the Riverwalk, where we meandered under bridges and reveled in the cityscape views. Despite the threat of rain, the weather remained cooperative, casting a moody ambiance over our session.
After wandering around the Wrigley Building our journey concluded on Michigan Avenue. For Gary and Andrea, this session was an authentic expression of their love and a tribute to the memories they’ve shared in Chicago. As their photographer, it was a privilege to document these unscripted moments and create timeless images that reflect their unique bond.
It was an honor to be part of Gary and Andrea’s Chicago Riverwalk engagement session. Congrats on your wedding!
