As a Chicago wedding and engagement photographer, there’s something about Lincoln Park spring engagement sessions that resonates deeply with me. The burst of life, the blossoming trees – it’s a season filled with natural beauty just waiting to be captured. So, when Rukmini and Dylan chose Lincoln Park for their session, I knew we were in for a treat.
The day began with a touch of uncertainty, with windy and rainy weather just thirty minutes before our scheduled shoot. I’ll admit, I was concerned we might have to reschedule the session. But as luck would have it, the skies cleared, and we were met with the most beautiful light, setting the perfect tone for our session.
For Rukmini and Dylan, Lincoln Park held special significance. It was where Dylan had proposed, adding an extra layer of sentiment to our shoot. As we wandered the Nature Boardwalk, it was clear how much this place meant to them. Their love for each other and for this location was evident in every moment we captured. Unfortunately, The Honeycomb is currently undergoing construction in the Lincoln Park South Pond area. However, the Lincoln Park Nature Boardwalk and South Pond are filled with great photo spots and nice backgrounds to play around with.
They were an absolute delight to photograph – genuine, relaxed, and deeply connected. Every image told a story of their love, laughter, and shared moments. It was a reminder of why I’m so passionate about what I do – capturing real emotions and genuine connections.
So here’s to Rukmini and Dylan and their Lincoln Park spring engagement – a beautiful chapter in their love story. May their journey together be filled with countless more moments of joy, laughter, and love. Here’s to celebrating love in full bloom and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
