There’s something magical about a winter Chicago Winery wedding, and Anthea and Max’s December celebration was no exception. We were especially lucky with the weather; for a winter day in Chicago, it was surprisingly mild, making for the perfect backdrop for their special day.

Getting Ready

I started the day at Anthea and Max’s apartment building, where they were getting ready. The energy in the room was buzzing with excitement as friends and family moved in and out, helping with final touches. Anthea looked stunning in her gown, and Max was all smiles, eager to see his bride. The first look was nothing short of emotional tears were shed, hugs were shared, and I felt so honored to witness such a heartfelt moment between the two of them.

After capturing family photos, we walked to the Wrigley Building for some couple portraits. It was the perfect spot to showcase their love against the classic Chicago architecture. From there, we made our way to Chicago Winery, where the ceremony and reception took place. The Chicago Winery is an incredible venue for a wedding. Its mix of modern design and rustic charm creates such an inviting atmosphere. The warm lighting, grand staircase, and intimate setting make it an ideal location for a winter celebration.

Anthea and Max had a beautiful Jewish ceremony under a stunning chuppah, surrounded by their loved ones. The heartfelt vows, the breaking of the glass, and the joy on their faces made it so special. As the evening continued, speeches were given that had everyone both laughing and tearing up. Then came the dancingso much dancing! From the Hora to packed dance floors, the energy never slowed down.
