Sierra and Myles described their Morgan Manufacturing wedding as vibrant, unique, and social, and that couldn’t be more accurate. From the moment I arrived at the Nobu Hotel Chicago where they were getting ready, the energy was incredible. Sierra was surrounded by her bridesmaids, music was playing, and everyone was genuinely having the best time. Her lace gown with a full bottom was absolutely stunning and fit the tone of the day so well.
Once she was ready, we headed over to Morgan Mfg for the first look. We chose the massive blue wall outside the venue as the backdrop and the way they looked at each other was beautiful. You could feel the love in that moment. Afterward, I took them around the venue for couple portraits. I love when my clients choose to do all their portraits at the venue. It gives me the chance to create something unique just for them. We played with dramatic lighting throughout Morgan Mfg and I was obsessed with how the photos turned out.
Before the ceremony, they had a ketubah signing surrounded by close family and friends. The ceremony itself was filled with heartfelt moments. The light at the end of the aisle caught the couple just right as they shared an extra kiss. The floral design was bold and colorful with bright pinks and oranges. The space was styled so beautifully with a modern, colorful aesthetic that felt very true to Sierra and Myles.
Instead of a traditional seated dinner, they went with food stations including ramen, sushi, pasta, and Greek dishes. It was such a fun and social way to keep the energy up. After speeches and dances with family, the band started and the dance floor was packed. Before the night ended, I snuck the couple away for a quick night shot on the rooftop to close out their incredible Morgan Manufacturing wedding.
Sierra and Myles, it was such a joy to document your day. Congratulations!
