Cara and Jason’s Artifact Events wedding was such a fun one to look back on. This Artifact Events wedding had the perfect mix of meaningful moments and a really cool, modern setting. From the start of the day through the celebration, this Artifact Events wedding felt relaxed, personal, and full of energy.
Cara got ready at her parents’ condo downtown, which made the morning feel extra special and personal. It was such a calm way to start the day, surrounded by family in a space that already held so many memories. Meanwhile, Jason was getting ready nearby, and you could feel the excitement building as everything came together.
Before heading to the venue, we stopped at Lincoln Park South Pond for portraits. This is always one of my favorite spots in the city for photos. The mix of nature and skyline views creates such a timeless backdrop, and Cara and Jason were completely in their element. They made the whole experience feel easy and natural, which always shows in the photos.
Their celebration took place at Artifact Events, and it’s truly one of the coolest venues in Chicago. The industrial vibe, exposed brick, and open space give it so much character while still feeling elevated. It’s a space that works beautifully for both ceremonies and receptions, and it really allows each couple to make it their own.
My associate team, Larissa and Tamara, did such an amazing job capturing this day. They documented everything so thoughtfully—from the big moments to the smaller in-between ones that make a wedding feel real. Cara and Jason’s connection was so genuine, and it came through in every part of the day.
It was such a joy to be a part of this celebration and to see everything come together so seamlessly.
