As a Chicago photographer, every wedding tells a unique story of love, joy, and cherished moments. Recently, I had the pleasure of capturing Maureen and Ryan’s beautiful Chicago Firehouse Restaurant, and it was nothing short of magical.

Getting Ready at The Royal Sonesta

I started my day with Ryan at the Royal Sonesta, where he and his groomsmen were getting ready amidst laughter and anticipation. His family was by his side, adding to the warmth of the moment. After ensuring I had captured those precious pre-ceremony moments, Eventually I made my way to Maureen’s room. There, amidst the buzz of hair and makeup artists, I started photographing the brides wedding day details. From her elegant dress adorned with lace to her delicate jewelry and beautiful wedding invite.

As Maureen slipped into her gown with the help of her mother, it was evident that she was the epitome of grace and beauty. We then headed outside the Royal Sonesta for the first look. The first look between Maureen and Ryan was a moment filled with palpable emotion, and the backdrop of the Royal Sonesta provided a picturesque setting for their love to unfold.

Epic Chicago wedding Portrait Locations

Following the portraits at various iconic Chicago locations, including the Wrigley Building and Milton Lee Olive Park, we made our way to the Firehouse Restaurant for the main event.

The intimate ceremony on the patio, surrounded by vibrant pink flowers, exuded romance and sincerity. The Firehouse Restaurant provided the perfect ambiance for their special day, with its elegant spaces and charming decor.

Cocktail hour was a delightful affair, with delectable treats and refreshing drinks setting the tone for the evening. The reception, held upstairs, was a vision of beauty adorned with flowers and flickering candles. Heartfelt speeches and tender first dances filled the air, creating memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.
