Chicago’s skyline may be iconic, but there’s a special magic to the city at sunrise, before the hustle and bustle begins. And it was this magical backdrop that Tyler and Katie chose for their intimate Chicago sunrise elopement, captured by Chicago elopement photographer, Sarah Nader Photography.
As the golden sun peeked over the horizon, casting a warm glow on the city, we met at Milton Lee Olive Park. While the air was crisp and the wind carried a hint of winter’s chill, it couldn’t dampen the excitement and love radiating from Tyler and Katie. The sunrise was awesome so we started taking some gorgeous silhouettes of the couple with the Navy Pier ferries wheel in the background. As the sun began to rise we moved on to the epic Chicago skyline.
With the majestic skyline as their witness, we captured the raw emotions and tender moments of their relationship. From playful laughter to stolen glances, their love story unfolded before the lens. We explored the iconic Wrigley Building, its architecture echoing the strength and resilience of their bond. And then, we moved onto the Chicago Board of Trade, where the grandeur of the location mirrored the magnitude of their commitment.
Chicago City Hall
As the sun climbed higher, casting longer shadows across the city, we walked Tyler and Katie to City Hall. With a warm farewell and our heartfelt congratulations, we watched them embark on their new journey as husband and wife.
This was more than just an elopement; it was a testament to the enduring power of love and the beauty of a simple, heartfelt ceremony. As a Chicago elopement photographer I am honored to have captured this special moment in their lives.
