I’m thrilled to share the beautiful story of Tia and Tim’s wedding day. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments, set against the stunning backdrop of a Hilton Oak Brook Hills Resort Wedding.

GETTING READY

The day began with my second shooter, Tamara, capturing Tim as he got ready, while I headed to Park Ridge to meet Tia at her childhood home. The house was buzzing with excitement as Tia prepared for her big day surrounded by her large bridal party. Friends and family were all there to celebrate her, and the joy in the air was contagious. We kicked off the morning with everyone in their getting-ready outfits, popping champagne and getting the party started. Tia’s dress was nothing short of spectacular—she wanted to sparkle on her wedding day, and she absolutely did.

After Tia slipped into her stunning dress, she shared a heartfelt first look with her dad. It was such a touching moment, followed by a sweet exchange of gifts with her family. We then did a first look with all of her bridesmaids. You could really see the love in their eyes as they say Tia in her wedding dress for the first time.

CEREMONY

Then it was time to head to Mary, Seat of Wisdom Catholic Church in Park Ridge, just down the road. I met up with Tim at the church, and you could feel the excitement building. The ceremony was beautiful, and Tia and Tim nailed the kiss right in the middle of the aisle. Outside, they had a fun bubble exit, which made for some fantastic photos!

Next, we traveled to Lilacia Park in Lombard for wedding party photos. Despite a little rain, Tia and Tim didn’t let it dampen their spirits. They grabbed their umbrellas and we took some epic shots in the rain. It was such a fun and spontaneous moment!

Finally, we arrived at the Hilton Oak Brook Hills Resort for the reception. Let me tell you, a Hilton Oak Brook Hills Resort Wedding is something special. The band, the decor, the lighting—everything was absolutely amazing. The band had everyone on the dance floor, and the energy was electric. There were heartfelt speeches and touching family dances that brought tears to many eyes. I even stole the couple away for a quick five minutes of sunset photos, which turned out to be some of my favorite shots of the day.
